-
A therapy intensive is an extended session—typically 2 to 6 hours with built-in breaks—that gives you focused, uninterrupted time to explore what matters most. Instead of pausing when the hour is up, there’s room to slow down, stay with important conversations, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that fits you.
-
No! You don’t need to be a current PCS client to explore a therapy intensive. Intensives may be offered as a standalone service or alongside ongoing therapy, depending on your goals and whether the format is appropriate for your needs.
-
Intensives can be a good fit for individuals, couples, and families who want dedicated time to work through a specific challenge, navigate a transition, reconnect, or go deeper than weekly sessions allow. An intensive isn’t the right fit for everyone, so we’ll talk together about your goals and whether this format is a good option for you.
-
Intensives can focus on many of the same areas as ongoing therapy, such as communication and conflict, rebuilding trust, relationship decisions, family dynamics, life transitions, and personal growth. We’ll choose your focus together during the planning process.
-
Intensives typically range from 2 to 6 hours and include built-in breaks. We’ll decide on the length, structure, and pacing that best fit your goals when we plan your intensive together.
-
Start by emailing us to ask about an intensive. We’ll talk about your goals, whether an intensive is a good fit, and the structure and timing that work for you. If you’d like to connect first, you’re also welcome to book a free 15-minute vibe check—it’s optional.
-
Yes. Intensives are available for individuals, couples, and families. All sessions are held online by video for eligible clients located in Arizona, Colorado, and Illinois.
-
Because each intensive is customized, the fee depends on its length and format. Reach out and we’ll walk you through current rates and options before anything is scheduled.
